I'm facing a problem related to my Roku device. I just want to To Connect to a sound bar or an AVR with HDMI ports. But i don't know how to connect. So Please help me to solve this problem.
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI-In port on your surround receiver. Connect the other end of the cable to the HDMI-Out or HDMI port on your DirecTV receiver. Insert the red and white connectors on one end of the cable to the color-coded Audio-Out jacks on your DirecTV receiver.
Many sound bars and AVRs are designed to be one point where you can switch audio and video between the devices connected via HDMI.
a) Connect that end of the HDMI cable, which isn’t attached to Roku. If you are using Roku Streaming Stick, then directly connect it to an available HDMI input on sound bar or AVR. b) In the output port of the sound bar or AVR, you need to connect a premium high-speed HDMI cable. The other end of this cable will be connected to the available HDMI input on the TV.
Your AV receiver has x4 HDMI in's and x1 HDMI out. Run all of your devices into the AV receiver, run a HDMI cable from the Out on the receiver to your TV's HDMI input. Use the AV receivers remote to switch between Input channels. To have sound output from the TV, run either a SPDIF or Optical Fibre (TOSLINK) cable from the TV's Digital Audio out into the receivers Digital Audio In.
